Social Levels

One way you could tell Social Levels apart in Ancient China is by clothing.  The rich would wear silk robes while the commoners or peasants would wear a loose robe made from a plant fiber called Hemp.

Kings of China

Scholars

The kings of Ancient China would stay inside the walls of the capital.  But they would often ask about daily life, like "So, how did today's hunt go?" or "What are people saying about me?".  These are just examples, but an oracle bone was found that asked "Will todays hunt go well?".

The scholars of China almost had a social level to themselves.  They were extremely knowledgeable and would frequently advise
community members that had questions or problems they could not answer or handle.
