COMICS & POEMS 2: Horizon by Joyce Cave Parker, Poetry
Horizon
The meeting of the sky, earth, and sea was so refreshing.
It was a sense of being free.
The rustling of the trees with its exotic breeze
was just a tease, for its job was to simply please.
There was no parallax for all was as it should be.
The twinkling of the stars were a golden light beam
that soothed my soul, never fearful of growing old.
My soul was soaring with unbelievable speed.
The seed of life was planted,
while the planets chanted in harmony.
My horizon and your horizon are filled with love.
Fruity flavors of rainbow colors for all to see.
It is the horizon in you and me.
