MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT 1: Affleck and Garner Rumors

Rumors are swirling that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are engaged. The two met on the set of the movie "Daredevil", where Affleck played the title role and Garner played Electra. Garner is also starring in a spin-off featuring the Electra character, with Affleck making a cameo.

Reports have surfaced that Affleck proposed last week during Garner’s 33rd birthday celebration. Though Affleck’s publicist has denied the rumors, family friends say that the question was popped. If the rumors are true, this would be the first marriage for Affleck and the second for Garner.

Affleck had a high profile relationship, engagement and break-up with Jennifer Lopez. That relationship ended last year before a wedding took place.

There was speculation that Affleck and Garner became a couple, but the two hid their private lives from the public eye. It was only after pictures of them at a Boston Red Sox game during the World Series that they admitted they were dating.

It is possible that Affleck wants to keep his relationship private to avoid the strain that all the media attention creates.
