MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT 2: Record Label Gives Away CDs

As Earth Day approaches, Morusa Records would like to give you a free instrumental CD--if you promise to try and be more respectful of our earth. "We just want to get it in people's minds to do a little more to help out our planet," says Adrian Martinez, President and CEO of the label. "They say the mind uses the senses to bring up certain memories. Hopefully this music CD will set a tone to remind people to do a little extra to promote a healthier earth."

"It's a great thing what the label is pushing," says Connie Mendez, Manager of Operations. "We're not perfect either, but we're trying to do our part by using music to influence others to help protect our environment."

Morusa Records is one of the few labels that insists on using 100% recycled material for their music products. The free CDs can be requested via their website: www.morusarecords.com

Morusa Records has been active in the past with charities such as The American Red Cross, The American Cancer Society, the victims of the Southern California Fires of 2003. The company currently sponsors a music program for kids via the web. In 2000, the label was presented with a Proclamation by the City of Los Angeles for it's commitment to social issues within the community.
