COMICS & POEMS 2: The World (From A Paintbox), Poetry
The World (From A Paintbox)
Strawberries hang all coated in white,
The clouds above, all ochre bright,
Field after field, showing blue with a yellow,
Trees growing tall, dark blue to the fall,
with leaves of red, a cry, a Macaw',
A cat creeping by, are those pink spots, we see?
A look to the future, bright light, destiny,
The sun, like a peach,
All covered in cream,
And rain gently falling, it's colour is green,
Mole hills, like sugar loave's,
All covered in marmalade,
And paving stones of lavender,
Along the parade,
The world a Kaleid'oscope,
unreal it is never,
A dream?
A forever.
