WEEKLY NEWS 4: Tiny TV
Wristwatches are commonly worn in America because it’s important to keep track of the time. Special wristwatches may also show the date and the time in other parts of the world. You can also buy watches that are waterproof and indestructible. And now you can even watch TV on your watch!
The new TV-wristwatch is a tiny $200 TV. Portable DVD players and hand-held TVs are huge compared to this 1 1/2 inch screen. The screen is flat panel and displays the time as well as TV shows. Earphones carry the sound. The battery lasts one hour, so you can at least catch one of your favorite shows if you are stuck on the road.
While the TV-wristwatch is one of the smallest portable TVs, it is very large compared to other watches. In addition, the weak reception does not allow you to move around while watching a show. You have to stay in one place to ensure clear reception. The excellent resolution and color of the screen is remarkable, but don’t expect a good picture while walking.
