Greetings! My name is Betsy.  I grew up in Florida, and now I live in Maryland, but I have also spent time living in Belgium and the Netherlands (in Europe!).  I just graduated from the University of Virginia.  While I was there, I studied philosophy and religion because I wanted to learn about the ideas that influence people all over the world. I hope to spend time in other countries again, and I am always reading about world events.  Knowing what happens in other countries is exciting and it also helps me understand what happens in my own country in a different way.
