COMICS & POEMS 2: Poems, Weekly Poetry Feature

Poems

Can you see all the pictures they paint
In this book of poems some think quaint?
Unique, each poem in its own way,
Reflecting the thoughts one had to say.
Beautiful scenes some poems portray,
Others full of humor, jest, and play.
Expressions of love I like best,
Some cowboy tales of the wild west.
Poems of nature can take you away
From the everyday pressures of today,
Transplant you by that lake or stream,
A fish on the line or a dream.
Poems of faith in God inspire
Those looking, searching with desire
To lift their spirits sometimes down,
To replace with a smile that frown.
Poetry--an art for years and years,
Bringing laughs, reflection, sometimes tears
To the readers and writers who are blessed
With enjoyment, release, no longer stressed.
