MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT 3: Family-Friendly Cruise Ship
Royal Caribbean International, a popular cruise line company, recently announced the creation of its newest ship, the Freedom of the Seas. The ship was in the design stages for about three years before it was built, and it is projected to sail for as many as twenty-five years. The ship is 184-foot wide with five decks and is more family friendly than some of Royal Caribbean's other ships.
The Freedom of the Seas will have similar water features to current Disney cruise boats. It will have a water safari area for kids and a separate adult spot. The boat will have nineteen family-friendly suites to choose from when it's time for bed. Many travel agents say cruise ships are an increasingly popular place for families to vacation.
A cruise often offers activities for children of all ages. Moms and dads only need to unpack once to expose their kids to all types of fun, games and excitement. Perhaps Royal Caribbean has noticed the increase in families onboard their ships and have adjusted to fit family needs with the Freedom of the Seas.
