COMICS & POEMS 2: One Size Fits All, Poetry
One Size Fits All
It's what they say, one size fits all . . .
Short or fat,
Thin or tall.
Nestled there, inside the egg . . .
So little hose,
S-oo-oo much leg.
I pull and tug, what a row!
I've finally got 'em
O'er my toe.
Please don't twist, my fervent plea . . .
Gracious sakes!
I've reached my knee!
Huffin', puffin' . . . 'bout to die,
At last! I've got 'em
To my thigh!
Falling back across the bed . . .
The mighty struggle takes its toll.
Oh, goodness! No!
Look what I've done! I've punched a hole!
