MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT 1: Pet Radio Station

There is a new radio station in town. The cool thing is that it's not for you, it’s for your pet! Morusa Records in Los Angeles has started a radio station just for your dog or cat.

Morusa Records started in 1999 and has received a few awards such as the Proclamation by the City of Los Angeles. DogCatRadio.com has also been part of charities like the Red Cross, American Cancer Society and After the Fires, which benefits the San Bernardino fires.

This radio station plays all different types of music. Your pet can hear classical music, rock, or even pop. The special thing about this online radio station is that it is made just for pets. The DJ plays music that pets will like and talks directly to pets. The station also gives advice and other information for animals. One advice that the DJ gives is: “Please be kind to your mailman. Remember that he only wants to deliver your mail."

The president of the radio station, Adrian Martinez, says that most Americans consider their pet to be one of the family. Pets want to listen to music just as much as people do!
