MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT 1: Stuart Little Review

Stuart Little 2 is the second movie in the Stuart Little series. In the first movie, the Littles adopt a mouse named Stuart, and take him home. George, the only son of the Littles, at first did not get along with Stuart; eventually, Stuart wins a boat race for George, and the two become friends. During a party held to celebrate Stuart and George's victory, two mice appeared at the Little's doorstep. Sent by Snowbell, the Little's cat, these mice took Stuart away from the Little family, claiming him to be their son. The mice later confessed the truth to Stuart, that he was not actually their son. Saddened, Stuart makes his way back home, remembering the motto of the Littles': "Every Little in the world knows his way back home."

When Stuart finally finds the Little's home, it is nearly vacant: Snowbell is the only resident there. Stuart inquires of Snowbell, "Where is everybody?" Snowbell replies, "They're out celebrating that you're gone!" This lie hurt Stuart deeply, and so he left, retreating to a tree to think about what to do. After feeling badly about the pain Stuart's absence was causing the Littles, Snowbell finds Stuart and tells him the truth: the Littles weren't celebrating, but rather looking for him frantically in the city. Learning the truth, Stuart forgave Snowbell, and the two walked home together.

In Stuart Little 2, Stuart is in desperate need of a friend his size. Luckily, he met a bird named Margalo; the two became best friends quickly. Falcon, a big, mean bird, had saved Margalo from deadly weather in the city. Wanting that debt to be repaid, he instructed Margalo to steal Mrs. Little's beautiful wedding ring: if she did not, he would kill Stuart. Forced with this hard decision, Margalo gave Falcon the ring. After Margalo disappeared from the Littles, Stuart and Snowbell went looking for her thinking something terrible had happened. When he found her, she told him the truth and said how sorry she was. Stuart forgave her. When the Falcon overhead their conversation, he trapped Margalo in an empty paint can and then kidnapped Stuart and dropped him over the sea where Stuart landed upon a garbage boat. Wondering how to get off the boat, Stuart saw George's old airplane. Although it was broken, Stuart was able to fix it, and flew it into the city. Meanwhile, after Snowbell freed Margalo from the paint can, Falcon tried to kill him. Margalo saved Snowbell by stealing Mrs. Littles ring away from the Falcon and flying off with it. The Falcon chased her.

Who ends up with the ring? Will true friendship win in the end? We will let you see for yourself! This really was a terrific movie, better than the first in my opinion. Go and see it if you can!
