A new book called "The Latchkey Kids and the Mysterious Portal" is now published. Author Dante Salvatierra published his book through Lulu (www.lulu.com), the biggest online provider of books. Dante's first book is titled "The Latchkey Kids and the Search for the Sacred Statue."

"The Latchkey Kids and the Mysterious Portal" is about five kids who discover a portal that leads them into another world. One of the kids gets captured inside the portal and it is up to the other four to rescue their friend. This chilling adventure keeps the readers in suspense as the kids travel inside the portal.

Dante wrote on his website that a mother of 2 children from Winnipeg, Manitoba, stated the book was "A wonderful adventure book to share with kids. The imaginative writing and true to life characters will hook both adults and kids alike."

Dante wanted to write a book for kids ages 8 and up that they could relate to and understand. He is an elementary school teacher trying to write a book for kids that he can present in the classroom for kids to learn.
