Hey!  I'm Lincoln Gaffney.  I'm 28 years old, and was born and raised in the
Washington DC area.  After high school, I spent a year abroad in the country
of Sweden.  I went to college at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where I
studied Political Science, Spanish, and Russian.  I now live in Arlington,
Virginia (just outside of Washington DC) where I work as a consultant to the
United States Coast Guard.  I'm a big sports fan-  my favorite teams are the
Washington Redskins, Baltimore Orioles, and the Maryland Terrapins (Go
Terps!).  Other hobbies of mine include reading, writing, traveling,
exercising, mentoring (I have a 14 year old "Little Brother" in the Big
Brothers Big Sisters program), and hanging out with my family and friends.
I also love foreign languages-  I speak Spanish, Russian and Swedish- and
can't wait to go backpacking in Europe again (hopefully next Summer!).  My
dream is to be a novelist and perhaps screenwriter.  I hope this gives you a
