My name is Nia Williams. I'm a writer. I love to read and write about 
science and technology, and about people doing good things in their 
neighborhoods. I'm from Boston, but I have lived in New York, Connecticut, 
Pennsylvania and London, England. I mostly studied people and cultures in 
college, but my favorite classes were in primatology (monkeys and apes) 
herpetology (reptiles and amphibians) and entomology (bugs!). I'm the oldest 
of six children, and my youngest brother, Josh, is in the fourth grade. He 
knows almost as much as I do about reptiles, and way more than me about fish 
(but I'm still taller!). I hope that someday soon I'll get the chance to 
write and travel all the time.
