WEEKLY NEWS 3: Rattlesnake Bites Woman in Store
A 42-year old woman as hospitalized after being bitten twice in the
leg by a rattlesnake on Tuesday, September 5. Emergency Medical
workers were rushed to the scene after receiving a call that the woman
had been bitten at the Lowe?s Home Improvement Store in Marion County,
Florida.
Reportedly, the woman was moving some plants around in the store, when
she felt a stinging sensation in her leg. When she looked down at her
feet, she saw the rattlesnake and reported it to authorities. The
woman was rushed to the hospital where she is still being treated for
the two bits on her right shin. She is not in severe pain or condition
and will be released later in the week.
Rattlesnakes are common from states starting at South Carolina down to
southern Mississippi and also in the northern part of Florida.
