MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT 1: Fashion Week Begins

The first day of Fashion week, began with a bang (and Beyonce).

Twice a year, New York City hosts Fashion Week, a week-long event where fashion designers show off their latest designs on the catwalk. This year, Fashion Week starts on September 8th and ends on the 15th. For the next eight exciting days, proud designers will reveal their spring 2005 collections.

Clothes aren’t the only thing on display during this week. Celebrities also make grand appearances. On Wednesday, Radio City Music Hall hosted a special style-themed concert to kick off the first day of the very fashionable week. Beyonce, Usher, Rod Stewart, Mary J. Blige Avril Lavigne, Alicia Keys, the Black Eyed Peas, Andre 3000 and Hoobastank all performed for the stylish event.

The chic concert will air on Fox on September 26.
