MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT 2: Penny for Your Thoughts?

Imagine being offered $1,000 in exchange for silence. Stefanie and Myron Roth were offered this nice chunk of change to halt their noisy tree trimming while a film crew taped nearby.

The two California residents agreed, but weeks later, instead of receiving what they thought would be nice, clean check, 20 bags of pennies greeted them at their front door. It took a while to figure out why there was 100,000 pennies laying on their property, but once they realized it was their silencing money, the couple wasn't very happy.

The Roths contacted Paramount Network Television and complained about the incident. They informed executives at Paramount that they would sue unless the network sent them a $1,000 check--and a $1,000 donation to a charity of their choice. Let's just say the Roths haven't sued.

There is only word to describe this story. . . Priceless!
