MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT 1: Moore, Always Moore Superior

Have a little faith in Mandy Moore because she is on top of her career and is happier than she has ever been. The 19-year-old Orlando, Florida native has come a long way from her pop song days. When she was 15 her first album, "So Real," was released and was a huge hit. The albums first single, "Candy," made Mandy a superstar and a role model. After the release of her second album, "I Wanna be with You," Mandy was in the movie "The Princess Diaries". In the movie Mandy played the role of a stuck up cheerleader whom thought that she was better than everybody else. Her third self-titled album, "Mandy Moore," was then released.

The one project that put Mandy Moore at the top of the hot all-around talent list was "A Walk to Remember," a movie based upon the book "A Walk to Remember" written by Nicholas Sparks. Mandy played Jamie, and young girl with a kind heart whom felt that it was better to help other people than herself. She had a list of goals that she wanted to accomplish before she died; only her days were numbered. Her number one goal was to witness a miracle, which she did triumphantly. Not only was the movie a hit, but the soundtrack was too. Mandy sung several songs featured on the soundtrack and also performed a fantastic duet with Switchfoot, a Christian song artist. Recently a new version of the soundtrack was released which features several songs not included in the original version.

After her cinema debut, her next movie, "How to Deal," also based upon the book "How to Deal," which is really two totally different stories combined into one book, was released. In this movie Mandy played Hallie, a young girl just trying to deal with her crazy family and finding love in the process.

Her newest album, "Coverage," was released on October 21st. This was a very important project to Mandy. She felt it was very special because she got to experience the greatest passion that she has ever put into a project. "Coverage" contains 12 songs from the 70s and 80s that Mandy felt have been the best songs written in history.

Her most recent project includes the new movie, set to be released January 9th, "Chasing Liberty". In this movie Mandy plays the President's daughter whom wants to be a normal teenager. She ends up not only escaping political burdensome but finding herself and her independence.

Mandy Moore has accomplished a great amount of achievements in the short amount of time that she has been a star. She has certainly surpassed those stars in which she started out alongside of. Mandy Moore is a talented genius that is down to earth and a human being trying to bring her love of culture into the hearts and lives of everyone around her. Don't miss out one of the greatest talents in a long time.
