Below you will find a collection of sample Standards of Learning (SOL) assessment tests. These tests are provided here as guides for students, parents, and teachers in understanding the skills tested at each grade level.
Collected from various states nationwide, such as Texas (Texas Assesment of Knowledge and Skills or TAKS), Californina (Standardized Testing and Reporting or STAR), Virginia, New Jersey and Florida, these exams contain real questions used on actual tests between the years of 2003 and 2006.
Some of the links below will allow you to take the tests interactively, online, while others will open a PDF file for you to print. Regardless of the media you choose to use, you'll find that each sample test provides questions appropriate for the subject material and grade level, and includes the answer keys as well as delineates the actual skills each question tests.
It is our hope that these tests, coupled with the various SOL study guides provided in the parent/teacher resource section of our site, will allow your student(s) to excel when faced with taking these nationally mandated tests.
