Davis Out for Season

DAVIS OUT FOR SEASON

Davis Visits Sesame Street's 30th Anniversary Celebration

Terrell Davis plays for the Denver Broncos and he is a very valuable player for them. Last year he was the National Football League's Most Valuable Player (NFL's MVP). One reason he was chosen as last year's MVP was because he led the NFL in rushing last season with 2,008 yards total!

On Sunday, October 3, 1999, Davis hurt his right knee when he tried to tackle a New York Jets defender after he just caught an interception.

Coach Mike Shanahan said, "I talked to him and he's in as good as spirits as he could possibly be in. He's working through it right now." Davis is supposed to be out for the rest of the season because it takes four to six months to recover from this type of injury.
