Jeff Gordon
won another car race this week on Monday October 11, 1999 at Lowe's
Motor Speedway. This was Gordon's second win in a row with his new crew
chief Brian Whitesell.
Lowe's
Motor Speedway is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Quality
500 race consists of 334 laps around this racetrack. The track is 1.5

per hour in 1993 to win The Quality 500!
Gordon
did not lead the car race until there were only eight laps left. Bobby
Labonte was the driver who led the race for the first 488 miles. At
mile 489 Gordon took the lead and did not look back until the finish
line.
This was
Gordon's 49th career victory, which ties him for 10th on NASCAR'S all-time
list.
Bobby Labonte
finished in second place and Mike Skinner finished third.
