ST. LOUIS RAMS UNDEFEATED

The only National Football League (NFL) team left undefeated is the St. Louis Rams. This past week, they beat the Atlanta Falcons by a score of 41 - 13. The Rams record so far this season is 5 wins and 0 losses!

Kurt Warner is the starting quarterback for the Rams this season. This is his first year playing football in the NFL, but he is no stranger to football at all. Warner played football in Europe for the past several years. Last year he played with the European team, Amsterdam Admirals. He led that team to a 7 win and 3 loss record which was good enough to earn him a spot with the St. Louis Rams this season. Fans are talking a lot about Warner's super passing game that scored 14 touchdowns in the first four games. This past week he passed for a total of 111 yards and one touchdown. This was not a great game for Mr. Warner. During the first four games this season, he passed the ball for a total of 1217 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Dick Vermeil is the current coach for the St. Louis Rams. Vermeil compliments his offense and his defense. He stated after last Sunday's game, "I've said all along the defense is good, and they don't get much credit because the offense has been so flashy. Today the defense was the one that provided the momentum. I think we are becoming a complete football team. We certainly know we can throw the ball."

Vermeil has coached the Rams to their first 5-win and 0-loss start since 1989.
